YOU Provided Hope and Food to 95 Enslaved Christians for 2 Weeks

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised $630.11 and provided food for 95 Christians (25 families) enslaved in brick kilns for 2 weeks! (Thank You Video from Beneficiaries on Bottom of Article)

Your support has brought a glimmer of hope and relief to these families during their time of need.

The Impact of Your Generosity

The recent monsoon rains have brought significant challenges to those already living on the edge, causing brick kilns to close and leaving many without work, pay, or food. However, your donations have made a substantial difference, ensuring these families do not go hungry.

Partial List of Lives You’ve Touched

  • Mehboob’s family: Now freed from slavery, they are building new lives filled with hope.
  • Shakeel: Despite losing his hand in a tragic accident, he can now rest easier knowing his children won’t go to bed hungry.
  • Bhusra and Shakeela: These widowed sisters battling disability and cancer are now fortified with the knowledge that they have not been forgotten.
  • Yousaf’s family of eight: Living in a tiny, leaking room, they can now face each day with renewed strength.
  • Babar and Chanda: No longer have to choose between feeding their children and buying medicine for their cancer-stricken daughter.

Your support is not just about providing food; it’s about instilling hope, showing compassion, and demonstrating that they are not alone.

Mehboob Masih: A Story of Liberation

We are overjoyed to share the heartwarming story of Mehboob Masih and his family’s rescue from the brutal cycle of debt and enslavement in Pakistan’s brick kilns.

A Life of Hardship

Mehboob, a widowed father, and his children endured unimaginable hardships, toiling from sunrise to sunset under the scorching sun.

A Miraculous Intervention

Our ground team, led by Pastor Aneel Saleem, approached the brick kiln with unwavering determination to set Mehboob’s family free.

Pastor Aneel Saleem: “Today, by God’s grace and in the name of Jesus, we will break those chains and set you free.”

Together: “Hallelujah! The brick kiln will hold us no more!”

Thanks to generous donations, we paid off their debt in full, shattering the shackles that had bound them for so long. We moved them into a safe new home, providing three months of food and rent. Now, Mehboob and his children can finally dare to dream of a future filled with freedom, hope, and happiness.

The Mission Continues: Four More Families Need Your Help

While we celebrate Mehboob’s rescue, four more families are still trapped in the brick kilns’ relentless cycle of bonded labor:

  1. Shakeel Masih’s Family: A tragic accident cost Shakeel his hand, plunging the family into acute poverty.
  2. The Sisters, Bhusra and Shakeela: Widowed sisters facing disability and cancer while raising children in oppressive conditions.
  3. Yousaf Mustaq Masih’s Family: An accident left Yousaf incapacitated, leaving his wife and six children struggling.
  4. Babar Masih and Chanda Bibi: This couple faces the added anguish of their daughter’s battle with cancer.

Our Goal: $8,000 to Rescue These Four Families

These funds will directly pay off their debts, establish small businesses for sustainable income, and cover immediate healthcare needs.
