Global News - Redeem the Oppressed

FSF -Filed the appeal against the Death sentence of Shafqat Emmanuel and Shagufta Kasuar.

Lahore- Pakistan : Farrukh Saif Foundation  has filed the appeal against the death sentence of Shafqat Emmanuel and Shagufta Kasuar. A Christian Couple who was given death Sentence on 4th April, 2014 by Additional Session Judge Main Amir Habib in Toba Tek Singh .

Shafqat Emmanuel and Shagufta Kasuar who are incapable of writing proper Urdu was arrested on 21st July,2013 for sending the blasphemous text message to the local Muslims in Gojra city. And After, 9 Months of Kangaroo trail the couple was given the death sentence.

FSF-Advocates are defending the couple were threaten and harassed many times during the trial. Toba Tek Singh Additional Sessions Judge Mian Amir Habib was also intimidated by advocate Touqir Ashraf  and some other Islamist lawyers from Lahore who were representing the complainants Muhammad Hussain.

We would request the international community to lift up your voice against this injustice with the persecuted Christian couple.
