Begging for right to life – Plight of a Pakistani Christian Child in Malaysia

Sonu wants to play like other children, be part of the society, he wants to study and make his parents feel proud but it seems like his dreams will never come true as he is diagnosed with Cleft lip and palate disease which has affected his mental and physical growth. His parents are helpless and can´t get him the medical assistance due to the lack of income resources. They had to flee Pakistan due to the religious persecution and find temporary refuge in Malaysia where they are living with dim hopes to be helped by UNHCR in Kuala Lumpur but no positive response has been received yet. Meanwhile Sonu´s health condition is becoming worse and worse. He is in urgent need of help and medical assistance.
