Another Christian boy faces Blasphemy charges .

9th Oct,2012 –Lahore Pakistan :

The day is mounting and I was unable to sleep whole night, just few hours ago I received a  Call of a terrified mother from Karachi. One of the Bishops gave my number to her and asked her to contact me instead of disturbing him. A Church Compound in Karachi situated at Fatima Jinnah Road,where two claimer Bishops are residing and one of them hid himself when terrified family reached in the compound and other through his servants passed on to them my number to contact me  with an advise and warning to leave the church premises at once .

Rubina Brian, along with her paralyzed husband, Brian Patras and two underage Children Ryan Stanton -16 and Suvana -15 were in a desperate need of help as they were being fixed up with the country’s strict Blasphemy law.

This middle class family lived in the Gulshan-e- Iqbal Karachi in a compound for the employees of SSGC [Sui Southern Gas Company]. The house was allotted to Rubina who was working in the SSGC.

On 8th October, Ryan Stanton and his father returned to their home in Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Karachi where they were stunned to see the local mosque leader and about a dozen of other violent Muslims waiting for them. This mob was controlled by the Local resident, Khursheed Alam, the main complainant in the case and Pesh Imam Qari Ghulam Qadir, prayer leader of the colony’s mosque.

They accused Ryan that he had sent the Blasphemous text message and forced him to confess however Rubina Brian handled the situation wisely and immediately requested them to understand the situation of Brian Patras (father of Ryan) as he had just come from the hospital. Few of the residents agreed with Rubina and dispersed with one agreement that  Ryan will g to the Police Station with them the next day.

As the mob dispersed, the family gathered their important stuff and left the house showing Brian needs to go to hospital, but from there they straightly reached the Bishop’s house. But unfortunately, as usual our Bishops were busy in their lives and they had No heart for the persecuted Church.

Luckily they got my number and immediately called me , Rubina was crying on the phone and requesting me to do something , It was 12:15 A.M and I was helpless but immediately I advised them to go and stay in the hospital’s parking for few hours until morning so I could send someone to rescue you.

At 6:30 A.M, I managed to move them out of Karachi in a private car to Hyderabad and from there to Multan in another vehicle, where my personal driver was ready to pick them and bring them to my Safe home.

In such circumstances when family members left you alone to die, He has chosen people like us to help and protect the persecuted Church.
